Be Well Peer Educators will work with the Health Promotion Department at the University Health Center to...
- Help shape health and well-being messaging at UGA related to alcohol and other drug prevention, interpersonal violence prevention, positive body image, and sexual health education
- Provide insights and strategies to reach UGA’s unique student population
- Professionally represent the Health Promotion Department of the University Health Center
- Gain leadership opportunities and public speaking experience
- Develop content for Health Center social media accounts, blog posts, and student webpages
- Plan educational events to support healthy behaviors
- Plan well-being events at UGA (Be Well Peer Educators have previously planned residence hall programs, concerts, tailgates to promote harm reduction strategies on Game Days, game nights, Build A Bear de-stress events during finals, and more)
