Program Logistics
The Commitment: Peer Mentors
Our peer mentors are selected in the spring. The following fall, each mentor is assigned a small group of 3-4 incoming students to work with for the full academic year.
Mentor responsibilities each month include:
- Attending 90-minute wellness workshop led by Health Promotion staff;
- Joining the whole program for an end-of-month social event;
- Two in-person check-ins with your small group;
- Brief written reflection
The Commitment: Peer Mentees
Mentees are expected to attend the monthly wellness workshop at the start of the month, join in for the program-wide social event at the end of the month, and check-in with their mentor and small group in between.
