Peer Educators will work with The Fontaine Center at the University Health Center to...
- Professionally represent The Fontaine Center at the University Health Center
- Help shape health and well-being messaging at UGA related to alcohol and other drug prevention, interpersonal violence prevention, and healthy relationships and sexual health education
- Provide insights and strategies to reach UGA’s unique student population
- Engage in leadership and public speaking opportunities
- Plan educational and well-being events at UGA to support healthy behaviors (Fontaine Peer Educators have previously planned residence hall programs, concerts, tailgates to promote harm reduction strategies on Game Days, game nights, Build A Bear de-stress events during finals, and more)

Last year the Fontaine Peer Educators hosted a number of educational events on campus to promote health promoting strategies, including:

- Host Fontaine Center tailgates to provide a substance-free environment for students and help promote harm reduction strategies on Game Days
- Develop health communication programs to disseminate Fontaine Center messaging
- Develop social marketing campaigns to promote substance use prevention, interpersonal violence prevention, and healthy relationship and sexual health education
- Plan and implement educational outreach events to promote risk reduction strategies including Fall Break & Spring Break events
- Collaborate with a number of campus partners and student organizations to disseminate messaging
